LAGO DELL'ACCESA PARCO ARCHEOLOGICO
The archeological park of the Accesa Lake was
created in 2001 and is composed of excavations
conducted during the 1980s. During this period
an entire Etruscan mining village was uncovered
which was probably active from the end of the
7th - 6th Century BC. The village was divided
into neighbourhoods, each of which has its own
corresponding necropolis. You can see the
foundation of the buildings, and furnaces which
were used for smelting metals.
