Laura, after getting her Law degree, has always worked for agricultural and wine companies; Francesco, on
one hand, is a wine and wine making expert, on the other he’s an engineer and has a company that
produces electrical components for caravans; Lorenzo, well he studied agriculture, but has always done
anything but, and before we opened the agritourism he was working in industrial insurance. If you add this to
the fact that a doctor and an accountant helped in the realisation of ‘Le 7 Camicie’, it is clear that none of us
had much experience in the world of hospitality.
Sure, at a certain point Marta arrived, but – surprise - she works in auditing.
Not being professionals in this sector, we asked ourselves a simple question: what do our friends like when
they come to our house for a few days holiday? What did we like about the places we have visited? It’s not
just the beauty of a place, the elegance of the furnishings or the comfort of a house that makes a holiday
memorable: it’s the atmosphere that you feel, the way you are welcomed, and the experiences that you live.
We believe that these are the things that make a difference. Therefore, we strived hard to create the
possibility of a holiday like this for the guests of ‘Le 7 Camicie’, a holiday that we think would be enjoyable for
our friends and family.
On the subject of families, let’s finish the introductions; since 2003 (the year that ‘Le 7 Camicie’ opened) the
stork has delivered the following: Sebastiano (the oldest at four and a half), Agata, Eugenio, Costanza,
Ottavia and, probably, Dario (at the moment he’s still in mum’s tummy).
Now, four years after our very first guest arrived at the agritourism and with the same spirit, we always seek
to do our best, to offer a good wine, to offer hospitality in beautiful, clean and welcoming places, to provide
opportunities for our guests to come to Tuscany and to go home with beautiful memories, accompanied by a
little of our warm-heartedness.
Here are our photos!
